The BMS students see a BMX show

How fun to get your own personal BMX bike show at your school!
 Volunteers???
Yeah, he can jump 4 students...but wait?
okay? That is with your bike but what???

This is him telling the kids not to worry because if the rider did crash into their friends he had a helmet on!
one last chance to back out???
 No problem!

Time for something a little more risky...
um wait... why is the principal up there?
don't look now but there is a BMX bike racing for you!

look how close he gets to her

 An arial view!
and in a blink it was over...

 time for autographs!
 and the money machine!

See you next year BMS!

The BMX reward show at BES

We were really proud to offer a reward so amazing for our fundraising. This year we decided to offer a live BMX show for any student that sold only 20 items. We also offered it to families that sold a combined 30 items and to anyone who offered a $50.00 donation by out.
It was so fun to see how excited our students got over this reward. It was truly a worthy prize!
 There were amazing jumps
 and tricks!

 meet and greets!
 air time...lots of air time!
lots!
and students that volunteered to be jumped over by a guy on a BMX...don't worry, he was wearing a helmet!

Then they did the unthinkable!

Whew...

A very big thank you from the Byron PTO. Our fundraiser was another success and we have already been able to approve many things for the kids!
Field Trips to the Science Museum, tickets to the Nutcracker, and many others! ALL of this is possible because of all or your amazing support of our fundraiser!

Fundraiser Updates

The yearly fundraiser is in full swing!  Here are some questions we have been asked and the answers..

Can kids work together to earn the "big prize" of the WI Dells package?  Yes!  Please be sure to submit the orders together with a quick note so that we are aware of the situation.  In this case, only 1 prize for each level will be distributed to the kids, but they can determine how to share the items.

My kids really want to go to the BMX show, but we have multiple children in our home and won't be able to sell 20 items per child.  Is there any discount for multiple children in a family?  Yes, at a combined total of 30 items all Elementary and Middle school children in the family can attend.  Again in this case, please submit the order forms for all children in one envelope so it is not missed.

The House of Bounce has gone out of business, but is listed as a prize option.  What will the prize replacement be?  We had no warning about this change and we are working to replace this prize.  We are trying to obtain passes from Bounce World, but if that cannot happen we will substitute a box of cookie dough which is valued at approximately $15.

When are orders due?  Orders are due on Wednesday, September 26th.  Your child can just return the packet to their classroom or home room teacher.

When and where do I pickup the orders?  Orders will be picked up for both schools at the Byron Elementary School Gym on Monday, October 15th from 3:00 - 6:00

Thank you for your support!

Good Neighbor Days

Good Neighbor Days is always a great time.  We at the PTO were happy to be part of the festivities by providing free popcorn and 25 cent water bottles during the movie Thursday night. It was great to see all of you who attended the event.  See you next year!

Family Fun Night!

 FAMILY FUN NIGHT
School Carnival
was a huge success!
We had a large turn out and parents and kids alike had a great time.
PTO would like to give a big shout out to all the parents and volunteers that worked to  make this event so wonderful!
Marie Anderson was brave enough to take it on! Thank you Marie. You are a shining example of the wonderful parents we have in our community!
We would also like to thank Nancy Castle for providing the hundreds of Beanie Baby animals for the fishing booth. The faces on the kids when they "caught" a BB was fantastic.

Another shout out to Club's Choice for providing 75 pizza's for our event. We are so excited to work with them next year for our fundraiser.

Bingo for Books is always a hit and this year was no exception. We had so many wonderful books. It was fun to see kids sit and read after they won too.

Hope to see you next year at the Family Fun Night.
