Welcome Back

Another school year has started and I hope you and your children are settling into your new routine. At the PTO we are busy preparing for a fun year. We hope you were able to make it to our first event which was the "Party at the Playground" for BES students.

If you were there you may have heard that the PTO asking all parents in the Byron School Districts to take the "2 hour power" pledge. Can you commit to volunteering 2 hours throughout the school year. If your answer is yes, please send us an e-mail at byronPTO@gmail.com and we will add you to our mailing list or create a volunteer profile at http://byronpto.ptomanager.com/home/newUser.html

The first meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, September 28th at 6:30 at the Byron Elementary school. On the agenda is the discussion of "Walking School Buses" as well as a list of the planned activities for the year and the first votes on a number of funding requests by teachers. Hope to see you there!
